A Promise I Made Myself

When I took the position of youth pastor at FBC 2.5 years ago I wrote this down: I will NOT quit being a youth pastor when: + I feel overwhelmed + I feel burnt out + I feel like I don't know what I'm doing + I feel alone + It gets hard + I panic

I've felt every single one of these at some point in the last 2.5 years. I'm glad I never gave up and quit when it got hard.

God has taught me a lot in my time in ministry. I'm eager to see what he'll teach me this year.
