Ty, the lead pastor at FBC, has been preaching through the book of 1 Peter lately and I've got to be honest, he's been awesome.  Every week I'm convicted of my sin yet encouraged at the same time.  He's been preaching the word of God with tenacity (that's good, btw) and authority and its been good for me to hear and see God work through his sermons. Basically, what I've gathered from the past few weeks is that a life lived properly is a life full of God.  We are at our best when we are fully captivated by and dedicated to God.  We were born to be with God and we'll never be right without him.
