View From a Plane

Currently I'm sitting on the tarmac in Chicago but a few minutes ago I was 10,000 ft in the air and I had a thought. Perspective is something we cannot lose.

There is something crazy about being able to cover up entire cities with your thumb.  Life down there seems so tiny when you are up here because our perspective has changed drastically.  But when we are down in the thick of it our perspective doesn't allow us to see the BIG picture...and how small we all are in it.

If life seems tiny from 10,000 ft imagine how small it must look from God's vantage point.

My goal here is not to minimize our trials or successes, those are very real, but to remember that God has the ultimate perspective over our lives.  He is sovereign in every situation, every circumstance, and every moment.
